The MI-318B is a robust TV wall mount that is capable of holding a 32- to 60-inch TV that weighs up to 175 pounds. You'd think all of that steel and mounting hardware would make the TV stick out noticeably from the wall, but it actually contains all of the components quite well. The most the TV should extend from the wall is a measly 1.5 inches when in a fixed position. If you take advantage of the tilting feature, up to 12 degrees, the profile size may increase.

On the back of your flat-screen TV, you'll find a pattern of holes compliant with VESA. The MI-318B is also VESA compliant up to 700 x 400. If your TV needs a larger VESA pattern, this mount will not work.

Even if you use the TV wall mount in your home, you'll still appreciate the locking bar, which will secure your TV in whichever position you've chosen – tilted or fixed.

Adjusting your mounted TV is also a breeze. A built-in horizontal adjustment feature allows you to unlock the TV, slide it laterally to the desired position and then lock it back into place. We absolutely love this feature because it allows you to adjust the TV to your room's specifications, not the other way around.

On the wall plate portion of the mount, you'll notice a hole that allows for easy cable access, and even the installation of an electrical outlet. We recommend installing an electrical outlet behind the television instead of running cords behind your wall for various safety reasons. Most electronic cords aren't designed to be inside of a wall, and as such, they have the potential to start fires.
